How Tiny Sites Work
A clear, structured process designed to get your website live quickly — with no surprises along the way.
This page outlines what I handle, what you’ll need to provide, and how we keep your project moving.

Built on WordPress —
So You’re Not Boxed In
Tiny Sites are built on WordPress because it gives you flexibility without locking you into a proprietary platform.
Your site can stay small and simple — or grow later if your business does. You’ll never have to start over.
- Expand into a larger site when needed
- Add e-commerce, scheduling, or content later
- Maintain full ownership of your site
What I Handle
I handle the structure, layout, and technical setup of your Tiny Site so you don’t have to wrestle with website software or design decisions.
You’ll get a clear, professional site built using a proven structure — without the frustration of DIY builders.
What You’ll Need to Prepare
Tiny Sites move quickly. To keep your project on track and avoid delays, there are a few things you’ll need to gather before we begin.
Don’t worry — I’ll guide you through this step-by-step, and you won’t be doing it alone.
A Tiny Site is:
- A single, well-structured page
- Professionally built and set up for you
- Designed to launch quickly
- Focused on clarity, credibility, and ease of use
- Built on WordPress, so it can grow later if needed
A Tiny Site is Not:
- A DIY website builder
- A fully custom, multi-page website
- A long design process with endless revisions
- A place to experiment with lots of features or effects
Tiny Sites are meant to be simple, effective, and finished — not complicated or open-ended.
Domain & Business Email
To move quickly, you’ll need two basics in place: a domain name and a professional email address.
Domain Name
If you don’t have a domain yet, you’ll need one before we begin. A domain is your website address (like yourbusiness.com).
Hover – https://www.hover.com
NameCheap – https://namecheap.com
Choose the simplest option. You don’t need extra add-ons or marketing bundles.
Business Email
A domain-based email (like [email protected]) is strongly recommended. It looks professional and helps customers feel confident contacting you.
Two common routes:
- Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 (more features, more setup)
- Email through your domain registrar (often the simplest)
Email setup is handled by your email provider. I’m happy to point you in the right direction, but ongoing email troubleshooting isn’t included in Tiny Sites.
If You Already Have These
If you already own a domain and use business email, great — we’ll use what you have. When you’re ready to start, you’ll just share access details so I can connect your domain and launch your site.
You’ll need:
What you’ll need to prepare and send to me:
Content for each section (words and any images you want to include)
Your logo (if you have one)
Any brand colors you already use
Links to your social media accounts
Access details for tools you want connected (email list, scheduling, etc.)
Once you submit your intake form and payment, you’ll receive a welcome email with clear instructions, guides, and links to send everything my way. We’ll review it together during our initial discovery call.
Feedback & Review
We’ll start with an initial discovery call to make sure your site is presented clearly and correctly.
You’ll review the site once it’s built, we’ll make one round of adjustments, and then we launch.
Because Tiny Sites move quickly, timely feedback and content delivery are essential to keeping the project on schedule.
Hosting & Maintenance
Tiny Sites are hosted on high-performance WordPress servers with dedicated resources, regular updates, backups, and security monitoring.
This ensures your site stays fast, secure, and up to date — without you needing to manage servers, software, or updates.
- Dedicated server resources
- Daily cloud backups
- Ongoing WordPress updates
- SSL certificate included
- Security monitoring
Hosting is $49/month and required for the first 6 months.
